Why did you create Sitemap+Live?


We created Sitemap+Live with the expectations of helping non-technical webmasters by giving them a free way to generate sitemap.xml files. Google does provide a great way to automate the creation of sitemap.xml files — so in no way are we knocking them. In fact - Google encouraged the web community to create tools like Sitemap+Live.

It's just that the tools Google gives you to automate your sitemap.xml files takes some working knowledge of your ISP as well as knowledge of implementing some server side scripts. If you can do that — then you have no need for Sitemap+Live.
